Jakub Rados | founder of sodar
Graduate of the Lodz Film School (Editing Department) and the Faculty of Philosophy and Sociology at the University of Warsaw.
He has completed over 650 film projects over the course of 10 years. His experience spans feature films, documentaries, commercials, and music videos.
Films he edited have been selected for major film festivals in Poland and abroad, including the Gdynia Film Festival, Docs Against Gravity, Krakow Film Festival, FIPADOC, É Tudo Verdade, and the Huesca International Film Festival.
He has collaborated with brands such as Porsche, H&M, Peugeot, L’Oréal, Volkswagen, ERGO Hestia, and PLUS+.
As an educator, he led two editions of the ‘Video Editor’ course for SKVOT. Over the span of one year, taught more than 60 individuals the principles and techniques of video editing.
He favors sharp cuts, fast pacing, and strong stylistic choices.
Outside the editing suite, he is passionate about drum & bass music, sci-fi literature, and long-distance travel, which fuels his creative work with fresh inspiration.
